Relationship Manager, Payments Solutions

Department: Payments Solutions
Location: Los Angeles, CA

Building relationships with our client base and engaging prospects will be the main responsibility of this role. Having an entrepreneurial spirit and reaching out to opportunities to enhance and grow our Payments Solutions Department will make you a part of our Company’s future successes. Your client base and prospects are Third Party Payments Processors in the ACH and BankCard processing realm who are looking for a superior payments experience.

The department is fast paced and the position requires great customer service, organization and analytical skills.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS (Other Duties May Be Assigned)

  • Building relationships with clients and prospects
  • Request and review legal documents and requests for changes
  • Request transaction and data invoices for further research and verification
  • Conduct initial review of all TPPP due diligence, verify exposure, and submit to Operations and Risk/Compliance for further analysis
  • Conduct interviews with businesses of all sizes
  • Conduct various online searches to identify personal and/or business referrals
  • Review of bank statements and company financials to determine the financial condition of prospects/clients
  • Review of previous processing statements to evaluate prior processing history
  • Generate and review credit reports for credit worthiness and limitations
  • Identify and act upon suspicious processing activity
  • Conduct periodic reviews on accounts
  • Effectively communicate with all players in the chain
  • Prepare concise and thorough analysis of all clients in an organized memo format
  • Other duties as assigned and as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Training/Experience:

Required: Minimum of 3 years experience in Payments Solutions

Desirable: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or closely related field. 2 years of Banking experience.

Knowledge of:

  • Banking laws, Bank policies and procedures and regulations
  • Basic Mathematical skills
  • Extensive computer skills
  • Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Payments (ACH and BankCard) experience required

Abilities:

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and nonverbal
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong investigative and analytical skills
